The Rockwall High School girls soccer team placed seven players on the District 12-5A all-district first and second teams announced by the district coaches.

Rockwall freshman Michelle Kelley was selected for one of the superlative honors as co-newcomer of the year along with Cassie Sephus from North Mesquite.

Named to the first team unit were senior goalkeeper Kylie Kelldorf, senior Shay Eskridge and junior Becca Gault. Kelldorf and Eskridge were repeaters from last year's all-district squad.

Picked on the second team were Rockwall junior Erika Chowdhury, sophomore Lindsay Holmes and freshman Caitlyn Sullivan.

Honorable mention honors were also earned by junior Taylor Bullock, sophomore Jodi Leroy and junior Brittany Newman.
