Players from Rockwall and Mesquite Horn reach for a rebound.

  The Rockwall Lady Jackets are still looking for their first District 11-6A basketball win after falling 55-46 at home on Friday to Mesquite Horn.

  Horn outscored Rockwall 21-7 in the fourth quarter to go 2-0 in district play. The Lady Jackets dropped to 0-2.

  Horn spread the scoring around among Jasmine Shavers (15 points), Dasia Robinson (12), Tra’Liyah Washington (11) and Viencia Jackson (10).

  Caitlynn Jordan led Rockwall with 11 points followed by Ashley Minor and Mikki Witcher both with nine and Nia Santiago with eight.

  A slow start hurt the Jackets in 71-52 non-district loss at Richardson. Rockwall trailed 13-5 and 37-20 through the first two quarters.

  Sherman Brashear led Rockwall with 16 points, while Andrew Schultz and Kaden Shelburne both added 10 points and Logan Hutton pitched in six.

  Rylan Griffen topped Richardson and all scorers with 21 points, while Cason Wallace fired in 14 and Gannon Parker added nine.

  Rockwall-Heath’s girls squared their 11-6A record at 1-1 with a 54-40 win over Mesquite. The Lady Hawks jumped out to a fast start, leading 22-11 after the first quarter.

  Tiffany Liddie led the Lady Hawks with 12 points, while Logyn McNeil pumped in 10, Mya Bills added nine and Jada Armstrong and Grace Anderson both added eight.

  Kaiya Freelon paced Mesquite with 11 points, LaKeycia Bables and Jene Samuels both added 10.

  The Hawks beat North Forney 68-49 in non-district play at home on Friday. The Hawks built leads of 19-10, 32-26 and 48-34 through the first three quarters.

  Chandler Dickson fired in 21 points to lead Heath, while Skyler Stutts banked in 19 and Kameron Pruitt added 16.

  Jonathyn Williams led the Falcons with 17 points and Dario Woodson added 13.
