A Rockwall County grand jury recently returned 33 felony indictments against 27 defendants.

The names of three defendants and their indictments were not revealed in the grand jury’s Sept. 18 report released by the Rockwall County district clerk’s office because they had not been arrested.

Indictments returned in 382nd District Court named the following:

• William Michael Braswell, two indictments for aggravated sexual assault of a child and one for indecency with a child sexual contact;

•Aaron William Fields, driving while intoxicated with child under 15 years of age and obstruction or retaliation;

• Julian Nevarez Hernandez, driving while intoxicated, third or more;

• Russell Wayne Hoback, injury to child, elderly or disabled individual;

• Heather Michelle James, possession of a controlled substance, less than 1 gram;

• Thomas John Kirsch III, burglary of a habitation;

• Michael Lee Lackey, possession of a controlled substance, less than 1 gram;

• Miguel Donovan Lopez, evading arrest detention with vehicle and driving while intoxicated, third or more;

• Larry Dwayne Morrison, theft of property, less than $1,500, two or more previous convictions;

• Brandon Ramirez, sexual assault of a child;

• Stormy Daniell Steelman, possession of a controlled substance, less than 1 gram;

•Robert Edwin Thomas, driving while intoxicated, third or more; and

•Nicholas Dale Welch, sexual assault.

Indictments returned in 439th District Court named the following:

• Felisha Ann Candela, theft of property, $500, less than $1,00 enhanced and burglary of a building;

• Christopher Porter Cline, possession of a controlled substance, less than 1 gram;

• Jacob Daniel Colerick, evading arrest detention with vehicle;

• Christian Gallegos-Perez, sexual assault;

• Vincent Shane Martin, manufacture delivery of a controlled substance, more than 1 gram, less than 4 grams;

• Paul William Powell, driving while intoxicated, third or more;

• Leonel Ramos, theft of property $500, less than $1,500 enhanced and burglary of a building;

• Alicia Robles, possession of a controlled substance, more than 1 gram, less than 4 grams;

• Charles Guy Steele, possession of marijuana, less than 5 pounds, more than 4 ounces;

• Melvin Scott Thomas, possession of a controlled substance, more than 4 grams, less than 200 grams;

• Christopher Marsh Walden, possession of a controlled substance, more than 4 grams, less than 200 grams.
