The fall season should eventually bring with it some much cooler temperatures, but it will definitely bring along a full plate of new events at The Harbor in Rockwall.

Five events will take place at The Harbor while another will be held in Royse City and lineup of upcoming events begins this weekend with the Artisan Market, scheduled for 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., to coincide with the Rubber Duck Regatta.

This event – supporting the Rockwall County Alliance for the Arts – will showcase some of the local artists, craftsmen and culinary talent as well as some works from outside artists and authors. Live performances and previews of what’s on tap from local art groups are scheduled, as well as an art exhibit from the Rockwall Art League.

Live performances at the Artisan Market include Rockwall Community Playhouse, Children’s Rapunzel Group at 11:15 a.m., The Music Shop of Rockwall at 11:45 a.m., the Rockwall Community Playhouse Zombie Group ar 12:45 p.m., Peghead Guitars at 1:15 p.m., Rockwall Summer Musicals at 2 p.m. And Harmonic Motion from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

On Oct. 5, the Harbor will host a Health-a-Palooza, a health and fitness event for the entire family.

This event – scheduled for 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. – will feature health and fitness tips and demonstrations, screenings and vendors, entertainment and activities for kids, as well as the Carter Blood Mobile.

Two weeks later, on Oct. 19, the Harbor will rev its engines for the 3rd annual Harbor Auto Show from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The 2nd annual Harbor Howl-o-ween will feature a ton of fun and excitement for kids on Oct. 26 from 5 p.m. To 9 p.m.

The event includes a doggy costume contest, spooktacular story readings and candy for the kids as well as seasonal vendors and much more.

The Harbor will shift from Halloween into Christmas mode with the 3rd Annual Harbor Holiday, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. On Nov. 23. Kids will have an opportunity to see Santa and Ms. Claus, take a train ride and stick around for the tree-lighting at approximately 7:30 p.m.

Also, Ticke the clockwork doll and Posy, presented by Circus Freaks of Dallas, will perform live during the event.

The Harbor will take its entertainment on the road Dec. 7 to spread some Christmas cheer with the 2nd annual Holiday Market in historic downtown Royse City.

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. And includes holiday shopping, entertainment, train rides for kids and an 84-foot snow hill.
