The wait is almost over.
Rockwall residents and a number of curious historians will finally get their chance to see the most historic piece of Rockwall unveiled on national television as “America Unearthed” – a television show on the History 2 channel – will air a new episode titled “Great Wall of Texas” on Dec. 14 at 8 p.m.
This episode is a feature on the historic rock wall from which Rockwall gets its name.
The episode description on the show website says the following: “Since the 1800s, the city of Rockwall, Texas has had a mystery it’s been trying to solve. Allegedly, the town was built on a massive rock wall that was constructed by some ancient civilization … or even giants. Could it be true? Scott Wolter conducts a massive excavation of the wall to figure out who – or what – created this wall and the controversy surrounding it.”
The show will re-air three times on Dec. 15 – at 12 a.m., 7 p.m. and finally at 11 p.m.
