Huckabee scores 36 points at state TAPPS track meet

Jared Huckabee racked up 36 points and John Donahoe added eight to lead Heritage Christian Academy to its fifth-place team finish at the TAPPS 2A State Track and Field Championships in Waco last Friday and Saturday.....more>>

  • Jackets clinch second place; face Wylie

    Rockwall's Jacket baseballers locked down second place in District 10-5A after a 4-2 final district victory over Sachse on Friday.
    The Jackets will take on Wylie for the Class 5A bi-district championship in a best-of-3 series this weekend. Game 1 is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. tonight at the Campbell Complex in Rockwall and Game 2 is set for 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at Wylie High School. If necessary, a third game will follow Game 2 in Wylie.

  • Gymnasts earn all-state honors
    GARLAND - Rockwall High School gymnasts Kenzie Hedges and Ben Barnard and Rockwall-Heath's Lori Williamson earned all-state honors with their performances at the State Gymnastics competition last Thursday-through-Saturday at the Garland Special Events Center.

  • Rockwall Lady Jackets take on Plano West for bi-district title
    Rockwall's Lady Jacket softball team will take on District 9-5A's second-place Plano West in a best-of-3 series for the Class 5A bi-district softball championship.

  • Heath qualifies 10 tracksters to regionals
    MESQUITE - Rockwall-Heath will be sending six boys and four girls to the Region II Track and Field Meet in Denton based on their individual performances at the District 10-4A competition last Tuesday and Wednesday at E.H. Hanby Stadium.

  • Rockwall hockey checks Plano West, falls to Frisco in playoffs
    PLANO – Rockwall (13-10-2) outlasted a tough Plano West team in nail-biter in the first round of Silver League playoffs only to fall to top seeded Frisco in the second round on April 3 at the Dr. Pepper Star Center in Plano.

  • Hawk golfers advance to regionals
    The RHHS Varsity Black Boys golf team finished second in the District 10-4A tournament at Waterview Golf Course.

  • Rockwall softball splits, holds third place
    GARLAND - Rockwall’s Lady Jackets split a pair of district softball games last week, but maintained their hold on third place in the District 10-5A standings.

  • Hockey team finishes regular season with wins over McKinney, Garland
    PLANO – Rockwall (12-9-2) finished the regular season with back to back wins over McKinney (5-18-1) on March 25 and Garland (11-10-2), March 27 reversing a 5 game slide. The wins provide Rockwall with much needed momentum going into the preliminary round of the Silver League playoffs against Plano West Tuesday April 1st at the Dr. Pepper Star Center in Farmers Branch.

  • Lady Jackets knocked out of playoffs
    Rockwall's Lady Jacket soccer team was ousted from the Class 5A soccer playoffs on Tuesday by No. 3 area-ranked Allen at the RHS soccer complex.
