Obituaries for the week of March 14

Bobbie Darr



Bobbie Fay Darr, a 66-year resident of Rockwall, died March 6, 2008.

She was born Sept. 4, 1921, to Bert James and Maud (Gilstrap) Darr. Mrs. Darr was formerly employed as a supervisor in the electronics industry. She was a member of First Baptist Church Rockwall, and was an Eastern Star.

Mrs. Darr is survived by her son, Vernon Darr and wife Sue of Garland; sisters Irene of McKinney and Mozelle of Pasadena; two grandsons, Ronnie and Richard; and great-grandchildren Amanda, Elizabeth, Holly and Jeremy.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Early Vernon Darr Sr.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., March 8, at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Chapel with Jesse Crouch officiating. Interment was in Heath Cemetery.



C. Jared Cauley



C. Jared Cauley, 11, of Rowlett died March 10, 2008.

He was born Feb. 19, 1997, to Chester Gene and Mechele Elaine (Douglas) Cauley. Jared was a fifth grade student at Williams Elementary school in Garland and was a lifetime member of Eastridge Church of Christ.

He is survived by his parents of Rowlett; two sisters, Olivia and Brooklyn Cauley of Rowlett; maternal grandmother Eva Douglas of Roswell, N.M.; paternal grandmother Beatrice Cauley of Jasper; and numerous aunts, uncles, and friends.

Jared was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Henry L. Douglas and Garfield Cauley.

Funeral services are at 11 a.m. today at Eastridge Church of Christ, 485 N. FM Hwy 549, Rockwall, with James Hawk, minister, officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park.

Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall chapel is in charge of arrangements.
